STRUCTURE OF SME AND ITS IMPACTS ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF N.W.F.P

Abstract

Sustainable economic development plays a pivotal role in bringing about prosperity and reducing poverty in the region. Small and Medium Enterprises are often found at the heart of local and regional economies. Enterprises create jobs, wealth and considered good for encouraging further investment in the local communities. Greater reliance must be given to the role that small and medium enterprises can play in generating wealth and eradicating poverty. Communities are responsible themselves for identifying the need for SMEs growth and development. In this context, the researcher is going to highlight the need and culture of SMEs in the province. Further, this research material will practically inspire the entrepreneurs to continue their efforts for economic development of the region under the umbrella of SMEs.
